How Ocean Spine is put together

The frame
A coloured spine down the full height of the left edge, so the document is recognisable folded or in a stack.
The title
A light, wide title that sits back rather than announcing itself.
The items
A filled header row over plain cells, so the columns are obvious at a glance.
The total
The balance due is underlined rather than boxed, which keeps the foot of the page quiet.
The typeface
IBM Plex Sans. Slightly warmer sans. Swap it for any of the other four without touching the layout.

What this design is for

A cyan spine with a light title and the figures underlined. The calmest of the modern set, and the one that survives being printed on a bad printer.
